Dear Friends and Associates, Lighting up a temple for the first time since Buddha's days We at PARAP are in the process of developing at least several lines of integrated small community utility services powered by independently harnessed wind and solar energy. The introductory lines will include, 1) community-wide clean drinking water and field irrigation system, and 2) community-wide lighting, communication and battery charging system. We will first try this out in the Russian Far East and Nepal (above picture), and then, if successful, will produce a video documentaries of the entire stories on how this can be planned and accomplished and publish them at the PARAP site for all to view. We welcome questions and enquiries on these services, but one thing certain is that, thanks to Sophia Engineering's radically new technology, the cost of harnessing of the wind energy has been radically reduced so that even the rural small communities isolated from the outside world can easily afford it. Within the months of November and December 2007, we will launch a show case or two so that everybody can see what this means in the coming years for the world's rural communities. In the meantime, you can access the following URL for more information on rural wind energy potential. http://www.sbpark.com/SOPHIAINTRO-eg01.htm Yutaka Okamoto PARAP Tokyo, Japan
