Click here to see the problems China faces both in big cities and rural regions BUT THEY WILL BE OVERCOME BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE Just look at the young boy with his mother in the modest old section of the city! He symbolizes the strong and open future generation of a new China Dear friends and associates who share the same concern with us,
We are starting a new ambitious project in China. It promises to become a model environmental project with a special emphasis on energy conservation aimed at stemming the earth warming gas emission.
China, with the largest lan d mass with a massive population of some 1.3 billion in East Asia, is boldly challenging the task of reconciling a mutually conflicting set of national goals; the closing of the alarming income gap between those who live in big population centers and those who remain in the vast rural regions on the one hand, and the reduction of CO2 gas emission by working on its presently fossil fuel-based energy infrastructure on the other.
We stayed in Shanghai from March 12 through 15 holding conferences and making field trips in the rural areas of Zhejiang Province south of the great coastal city. As a result of this visit, we were able to more closely evaluate the feasibility of the following project ideas, and in the meantime, we are now in the process of reorganizing our informal expert group into a registered business entity called LLC PARAP.
As shown by the flash pictures above, which we took during our stay there, the issue of the rich and the poor is not just a problem between the big cities and the rural regions. It is evident within ShangHai as it is in other major urban centers. But, the fact is that China is tackling this problem squarely now in global coordination with the new bold GREEN New Deal policy of the Obama Administration in the United States. And, in East Asia, what is happening in China, symbolized by a rapid shift of emphasis toward domestic demand creation from the dependence on export earnings, is the most exciting CHANGE taking place on this side of the Pacific Ocean.
The northeastern part of Zhejiang Province is full of lakes and streams making it a truly attractive sight-seeing resort. But at the same time, it does have a problem of economic underdevelopment, therefore a severe income gap between the local rural residents and the Shanghai City dwellers.
What we, as individual Japanese, intend to do now is to make personal contributions to this effort for a better future of East Asia. Together, we will create a new leadership to invent a new institutional framework and a new set of values which will become Asia's cornerstone for the 21st century world order. OUR TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWHOWS AND PROJECT EXAMPLES:
We plan on offering a set of advanced and tested technologies useful for this purpose, with the main emphasis on Dr. Ichimura's patented Information Transfer Technology (ITT), soon to be fully explained in HIS HOME PAGE ON IT-TECHNOLOGY.
(1) Project of high priority is the task of providing the best available set of technologies for producing a completely chlorine-free pure and health-enhancing drinking water for the 1.3 billion people in China. To begin with, we plan on launching a project in Shanghai by providing perfectly drinkable and tasty water for the great city's citizens.
(2) Along with this drinking water project, we plan on examining the feasibility of two other water-related project areas where the IT technology can do a lot. The first area of application is the manufacturing sector where industrial wastes pollute the water discharged by the plants.
One such example is the building of a unique treatment system for metal fabrication plant such as the auto manufacturing, where a variety of chemicals are used. We can deal effectively with all modes of water pollution thanks to the ITT technologies in addition to the commonly used past detoxication methods. The well-known problem of the nitric pollutants (NOx) can be most effectively dealt with by the ITT technologies.
(3) The second area is the agricultural and fishery sector where the use of polluted water as well as the use of chemicals and biological additives produce products unsafe to human health.
On such example is the building of an ideal "clean and green" model eel-growing farm. We will use our combined technologies starting with water purification and enrichment, and eventually use solar and wind hybrid power system combined with a more energy-efficient aeration system. This will not only make it possible to raise the eels without using any chemicals and biological additives, but also enhance the growth speed and the quality of the eels resulting in a marked profit increase for the farm operators.
(4) The third area will be the job of cleaning the lakes polluted by a complex mix of toxins and other harmful elements. Our combined technical knowhow centering around Dr. Ichimura's patented Information Transfer Technology (ITT) is capable of cleaning the pollute
d lake water while perfectly preserving the existing ecosystem.
(5) In addition to these field projects, we at NGO PARAP are ready to upgrade our internet website to make it possible for the Chinese people to contact and exchange information freely both by language and video images.
As seen in the front page flash pictures, people who grow vegetables and eels can directly talk with the Japanese consumers and answer their questions by uploading video clips taken by mobile phones. This site will become the ultimate means for the Japanese consumers to assure the safety of the food they eat. It is likely that they eventually end up meeting each other on ecotours for the Japanese and sight-seeing tours for the Chinese.
